Storage is not money waiting behind a door

Shen directly challenges the claim that stored Wealth or Officer needs a clash to become useful. If emergence and branch combinations already establish a functioning relationship, why should it wait for a clash?

Storage describes a form of elemental support. Chen contains Wu, Yi and Gui: Earth principal qi, residual Wood and stored Water. Wei contains Ji, Ding and Yi, including stored Wood and residual Fire. These branches do not contain only one Ten God, nor do they represent Wealth for every day master.

Earth is authority for Ren Water, Wealth for Jia Wood and output for Bing Fire. The same Chen-Xu clash therefore affects different functions. Identify the qi being used before interpreting what the clash changes.

Emerging Earth Wealth can act without a clash

For Jia in Chen month, emerging Wu is Indirect Wealth with a monthly origin. Jia's capacity, output supplying Wealth and Officer protecting Wealth determine how it functions. Chen does not have to clash with Xu before Wealth becomes usable.

If Wu remains hidden, a clash does not create a new visible Wu stem. Shen says the Wealth pattern is still insufficiently clear. A clash can change the activity or force of Earth, but cannot replace exact emergence.

Shen also allows that storage clashes can activate Earth when Wealth or Officer is Earth: Jia using Wu Wealth with Chen-Xu, or Ren using Ji Officer with Chou-Wei. He nevertheless returns to the clarity supplied by visible Wu or Ji. An identified actor is firmer evidence than guessing that authority or money has escaped a store.

If Earth Wealth is already heavy and Jia weak, stronger Earth can increase the burden. If Wealth is light and Jia sufficiently rooted, additional support for Earth can help. The same clash needs different interpretation according to that balance.

A Water root may instead be affected

For Jia, Ren Water is Indirect Resource, and Chen can supply Water-storage support. If Ren depends on that limited support while Earth is strong, a Chen-Xu clash may compromise Resource's ability to nourish Jia. Calling this “opening the Resource store” conceals the actual problem.

Ren with additional roots in Hai, Zi or Shen differs from Ren relying only on Chen. Record the clash and preserve the other roots. A clash does not justify deleting all Water support.

For Ji Earth, Ren is Direct Wealth. Increased Earth activity can intensify peer pressure on Water Wealth. For Ding Fire, Ren is Direct Officer and Earth output may threaten it. The same stored Water concerns support, money or duties according to the day master.

The life emphasis should follow the affected role. Damaged Resource concerns preparation and support. Wealth pressured by peers concerns occupied funds, competing claims and collection. Damaged Officer concerns rules and responsibilities. The clash begins the inquiry; the actor affected determines its direction.

Place a clash within the existing periods

If a natal Chen meets a Xu luck period, the relationship is already present before a particular annual branch arrives. A year adding Earth differs from one supporting Water through Metal or Water. Each changes the strength of the problem or its remedy.

A clash can also affect an obstruction and allow another actor to function. Explain which obstruction was present and what becomes possible afterward. Neither “every clash is damage” nor “every storage likes a clash” answers those questions.

When Wealth is under pressure, practical attention belongs to budgets, settlement, receivables and responsibility for costs. A favorable source of Wealth still requires production and collection to connect. The image of a door opening should not conceal how money is earned and received.

Ask which stored qi was being used, what supported its function, and what the clash changes. Those answers support a judgment about gain or loss. “The store opens” alone does not.
